“It truly smells like putting your face into freshly dried sheets (when they are still super warm out the dryer). I do find there is something pleasant and addicting about the dry down of Valaya. It is unique and nothing else smells like it. But I think it’s extremely overhyped and overpriced because it truly doesn’t last longer than a few hours on skin. On paper and clothes it does last ages but so do designer perfumes and body sprays. Not that it matters, but I’ve also never received compliments on it.”

Well look at me now with mud on my face. There is something extra in Valaya that even the best dupes cannot replicate. “I really WANT to love this. I am on my second travel spray. And it's nice. Clean. Fresh. Floral. But all I keep being reminded of is Bounce dryer sheets that I buy in bulk at Costco. Again, not an unpleasant smell. It's good for work. Good for a non-offensive decent projection daily go-to. It lasts ALL DAY. But I also tend to carry dryer sheets in my purse and pockets in the winter for static control. And I can smell exactly the same for about $6. Maybe I need to try the Exclusif version. I also find this similar to the OG Prada Paradoxe. IMO Paradoxe is easier to wear.”
