“Carlisle is my signature scent, this is so good (to me at least) I bought 3 bottles of this. Are newer batches worth the price? No. If you find any batch older than 2020, yes! A manly semi-gourmand perfume that projects really well, smells like heaven and lasts long! The notes listed are accurate, but definitely give it a smell first.”
“The dry down is close to Red tobacco but this is refined & better. It also has some resemblance to tobacco vanilla tom ford but the later is more sweet. Extreme spicy vanilla with hints of rose.Performance is above average, longevity 8-10 hours & above average projection for 2/3 hours. Good for fall & winter.It is quality & refined, however, I did not enjoy the scent profile to the extent of investing in a full bottle.”
“All I get is patchouli and a tiny hint of green apple. Smells like I have my nose shoved into a tree, especially in the drydown. It smooths out after a few minutes as the vanilla starts coming through, but it remains a patchouli bomb even then, so it’s absolutely not for me. Has moderate sillage and lasts all day.”
