So I went through my collection and I found similarities between this and Memories of Summer (an LV Symphony dupe).. I went to the LV store and, in the dry-down, there are very big similarities between the Ex Nihilo and the LV.. Did anyone notice that or am I too far off?”
“Smells like lychee boba tea… it’s fresh and juicy. Quite stunning. I can just imagine this in the summer. It’s a great signature scent.I remember once purchasing an Arab dupe from Maison alhambra of this, and it’s smells exactly the same. But not sure about longevity, however this one isn’t the best preforming perfume either.Even though it’s a beautiful scent, I do find this to be a cheap smelling fragrance, but in the best way possible.”
“When I first sprayed this I thought “Neroli Amara is that you?!” Very similar in the opening but to me Van Cleef does neroli better. Here the whole composition feels a bit too shampoo like and synthetic for my liking.It’s pretty yes, but is it niche price tag pretty? Not sure.Edit: Not the best performance. It also reminds me of Armani Prive Pivoine Suzhou (but again that one is done better).Conclusion: Fleur Narcotique is nothing you haven’t smelled before. Maybe suitable for people who start now their perfume journey.Nothing groundbreaking or done masterfully I’m afraid.I’m not convinced.”
