Clone Savings Calculator
Price per bottle is a poor way to compare fragrances. What matters is how much each wear costs. Enter the price and size of a designer fragrance and a clone, and this shows the cost per ml, per spray, per day and per year.
1. Pick a fragrance (optional)
Search for the designer fragrance to fill in its list price and see clones to compare. You can also skip this and type your own numbers.
2. Check the numbers
Most atomizers deliver about 0.05 to 0.15 ml. 0.1 is a fair default.
3. What it costs
Enter both prices to see the comparison.
How the numbers work
One spray delivers roughly 0.1 ml, so a 100 ml bottle holds about 1,000 sprays. Cost per spray is the price per ml times the ml per spray. Cost per day multiplies that by how many sprays you wear, and cost per year multiplies by 365. You can change every input, including the sprays per day for each fragrance, because clones sometimes need a couple of extra sprays to match the original.
Prices from FragranceNet and FragranceShop fill in automatically when we have one. We don't show Amazon prices, so for those clones you type the price from the listing. Compare size as well as price: a 60 ml clone at $20 costs more per ml than a 100 ml clone at $30.
