“Female wearer of Dior Homme Intense and I get the similarities. I Became mesmerized by Mr Thompson the moment a great seller suggested it to me. It is a statement scent that exudes confidence, prepare to receive many compliments. As I can't justify the price for the full bottle (and the cap is also not to my liking, sorry elephant lovers) I just bought the £35 mini travel option instead in stores. Keeping this for sophisticated winter evenings, a night at the theatre, a winter dinner, opera/cinema night. I absolutely adore it.”
“Smelt this at a boutique and it made me laugh because this smells 95% similar to Lattafa Zanzibar. Especially on the dry down. Why I laughed is because people glaze this perfume and brand meanwhile they found Zanzibar to be off-putting. As for me, I own and love Zanzibar, and although it can be cloying, the scent profile feels unique and robust, which is why I enjoy the original Penhaligon's one as well. Good, unique scent profile for occasional summertime wear, with an affordable dupe available for the budget shopper like myself.”
“This smells like my dad in the 1990s and it took me a minute to realize that what I was smelling was something akin to the original Old Spice formula. Woodsy vanilla base, peppery-geranium middle, spice in the top note.... it's all there. It's very nostalgic. Warm, spicy rather than clean, and definitely a dad scent. It's not for me and I wouldn't find it sexy on a man, but I can see the value. However, there are soooo many other colognes that smell like this rather than pay for that wild PH price point.”
