“Glorified The One by D&G with a dash of Halfeti spices. The drydown reminds me of Amyris Homme by MFK. Smells better than those, smooth and expensive but performance is trash and at 3x the price of the D&G this is not worth it. Also, I’m not in love with the drydown. I would 100% get the new The One Parfum over Mr. Sam for this scent profile.Now penhaligons is releasing an intense version because they know performance sucks just like for 90% of their releases.”

“Nevermind with the Halfeti comparison, this is Halfeti’s half grandson. Modern ambery fresher with tobacco and spice nuances. The opening has a nice mineral woody vibe that feels in the realm of Ganymede. It starts to warm up and sweeten as it dries down. This one is a banger with poor performance but it’s a banger. The drydown reminds me of Amyris Homme edp.Did I say poor, well very poor performance. It lasts relatively long as a faint skin scent, tho.”

“I must have received a dupe from Scent Split because this smells nothing like that headache inducing Halfeti scent. The opening has fresh "blue" vibe to it, and then transforms into a slightly spicy shaving foam/ shower gel vibe that's rather mainstream/designer smelling. The dry down becomes almost saliva-like and dense (i.e. Hugo Boss Elixir comparison), thus making it nothing like Halfeti.Side note:I enjoy this fragrance, but I don't believe the price tag is worth what you get here.”
