Borouj captures the citrus-spiced opening and floral heart of Carlisle reasonably well, with the bergamot and violet translating fairly accurately. However, the clone tends to have a slightly thinner projection in the mid-development stage, and the woody base lacks the refined warmth and depth of the original's guaiac wood and patchouli blend.
Borouj has comparable longevity but noticeably softer sillage and a less sophisticated base development compared to Carlisle. The floral notes feel less nuanced, making the clone appear more linear throughout its wear.
