“Beautiful scent opening with lavender and great depth. Scent profile is absolutely stunning and exactly what I love as a barbershop style fougere. Very gentlemanly and well crafted with smooth blending. This seems to sit very close to me but i get wafts at the opening... but the performance longevity is very poor honestly for the price point. If it had better performance and longevity, it would be a top tier fragrance. Unfortunately, this will be a pass despite my love for the scent profile. It seems a majority of the MFK line I struggle with in some way or another. A shame...”
“Balanced grapefruit + lemon opening is bright and fresh but with a muted, aromatic softness to it courtesy of (presumably) the lavender. Borderline love? Baser notes come in and blend well s it dries down, lending a bit of woody-mossy-earthy flavor to the existing scent. The opening can be a bit screechy and the performance is kinda weak for this price point, though. Weak projection for ~2hr, longevity 6-8hr.”
“I do enjoy a nice barbershop scent, however, this isn't one of them. The opening is nice, but the dry down brings out an weird and unpleasant note reminiscent of soiled diapers. Fortunately the projection and longevity is weak (barely three hours and its gone), so you and others don't have to suffer through it long. This stuff is an easy NO.”
