“I was please to see DKNY was listed as a similar fragrance. I own both (including the original version from the 90’s) - they are similar on opening. Aqua Universalis is a more sophisticated fragrance. It’s a sparkling light citrus; very simple. The opening is citrus, and as others have said it settles with some floral, but certainly leads and stays citrus. On me it lasts the day, I can smell it on my arm after hours. It is not as heavy and long lasting as some other MJK fragrances I own, which makes this perfect for summer.”
“It’s a good scent but I’m sorry to say it just smells like a nice hairspray. Not worth the price tag to me. It’s certainly fresh and unisex though, which gives me CK one vibes but with less of that floral sweetness (don’t get me wrong they’re not dupes of each other just a similar feel). If it were half the price it may be worth it.”
“I really love the smell of this fragrance (smells like Sprite but in a good and comforting way), but longevity is subpar. DG Light Blue Intense is fairly longer lasting which says something, especially given the steep MFK price tag. I recommend you go with Aqua Celestia instead of Universalis due to the much better longevity and improved sillage. Really wonder how Aqua Universalis Forte smells and if it is longer lasting. I would love to buy the Aqua Universalis detergent coming soon on the MFK website.”
