Narcotic Delight

“The boozy note is pronounced in the opening, but transitions fairly fast into the usual overpriced Initio dry down. I was hoping to like it, but it’s nothing spectacular. Projection is absent for the price. If I want a skin scent, I’ll use my indigo wild soap.The scent is a familiar. This is the faintly heard, olfactively handicapped, step-brother to Jovoy’s Les Jeux sont Faits. Same boozy note, but Jovoy’s is monstrous, delicious, and statement-making. In comparison, Narcotic Delight is an expensive, small-bottled runt. Not worth my time.”

“This was my first niche fragrance; got it for right under that $300 mark. Decent. Overpriced for sure, but I am addicted, and wearing it makes me happy. Tobacco in the opening is interesting. I am usually not a fan of tobacco scents, but this one made me love it, great dark cherry vibes, not synthetic cherry but definitely a little syrupy. Currently, on the dry down, the cherry is apparent. Longevity is insane. I sprayed it last night at 8 pm and still smell it on my skin at around noon the next day. The projection is somewhat inconsistent but definitely strong for the first 5 to 6 hours.”

“Wore this on thanksgiving day last week. Such a nice, pleasant, subtle fragrance that puts you in a chill mood. No problem with longevity and projection, both are solid. Lasted me until 7:15PM if I remember correctly. Could be longer if I applied more sprays. Another solid fragrance by Initio.”
