âI smell a lot of woods, pine, and just a real cologney dry down. I donât get any booze or vanilla or anything that has any depth. Itâs definitely masculine leaning, especially in the dry down. But the dry down to me is kind of like a generic Cologne. I donât think itâs worth the price tag for anybody and I donât think itâs a safe blind by I would sample it first especially if youâre a female.â
âExcellent performance! But... For me, a composition similar to a designer fragrance with a horrible and unacceptable price / value ratio. It smells typical of sweet men's perfume found in all drugstores, which I also really don't like. It really has a pleasant smell, but it doesn't offer anything that would justify its price. I don't get hit with any booze, it's even better to get a lover with it!â
âAt first sniff, this fragrance smells like a Hollister, but in a good way. I think it leans slightly more feminine due to the strong powdery smell. I wished it had less of that. The spice notes are really nice. I only detected the citrus notes after an hour or so and they didn't last long. The musky vanilla notes last a long while. This fragrance lasted about 6 hours on me. This will be perfect to wear on the Fall.â

The primary distinction lies in the base notesâPure Crystal substitutes cedarwood for sandalwood, creating a less creamy and more austere dry-down. Sillage is noticeably softer on the Lattafa, though both fragrances maintain similar longevity.
