“I like how the name perfectly evokes what this perfume radiates - it is the classic French school at its best. To my nose, this is very close to YSL Pour Homme, but has the vibes of Channel Pour Monsieur. I’m really surprised there is no moss listed as the drydown is quite mossy. This is old-fashioned, so won’t garnish compliments with young folks, but does not feel dated and being classic style gentleman cologne it also will never go out of fashion. If you are ready to pay the substantial ask price for what it is, you won’t be disappointed.”
