“Gorgeous scent. It opens with a blast of coriander, clove, cardamom. It has some green notes, the drydown is slightly sweet, I guess because of the benzoin. The sandalwood is restrained. The patchouli is very subtle.I think this is a great scent for a gentleman. On my skin it feels a little bit too soapy and barbershop like, not something I want to smell like. But on a man this has to be amazing.”

“Thumbs down from me. Dior's Spice Blend is far superior for my purposes. These Old Spice/ Safari/Coriander-inflected gentlemen's fragrances should never cost as much as Guerlain asks. Even at significantly lower prices, I prefer about half a dozen others in the same genre.”
