“I wish the opening notes would last longer. It starts as a very warm and cozy caramel (but not in a sickly sweet way), however that goes away quickly leaving behind more of the amber. I tested it on skin and blotter in Harrods since it is exclusive to them but I didn’t buy because to me the dry down is almost identical to Vanilla Powder from Matiere Premiere which I already own (and has immense silage and longevity). The longevity of this one seems pretty decent, I had it on my wrist for around 6 hours.”
“Sophisticated and fun ambery musk meant to evoke the vibe of rich and carefree Londoners who shop at the store this is exclusive to. The scent opens with notes of saffron and pink pepper and goes to a heart of caramel, jasmine and vanilla. The scent settles on a powdery bed of ambergris, synthetic musk, and tonka beans. The sweetish unisex scent has moderate projection and excellent longevity. Not very original and probably overpriced for what it offers but such a fun wear. Enjoy!”
“Well-blended, and with a fun and beautiful opening, but it's a like and not a love for me due to the dry down. The amber (and touch of oud?) turn a bit sour and harsh on my skin and then it feels neither warm nor sweet. I can imagine it being a love for others but am glad that I sampled first, and won't be upgrading to a full bottle.”
