“this is my absolute favourite fragrance at the moment. it is so beautifully dark and bold but green and friendly. it is very versatile although amouage is very deep and often associated with making winter fragrances. It is true that this fragrance would not work in the summer but i could see it being worn in the fall, spring and of course winter. but interlude would be a better option if you are looking for the deepest dark fragrance for winter. This fragrance smells like how an evergreen arabic forrest would smell like if it were a perfume.”
“Beautiful scent but the performance (longevity and sillage) was so disappointingly atrocious. Barely projected for 30 minutes with minimum 5 sprays then a faint skin scent for about an hour at most. Returned as definitely not worth the price. Had a Made In Oman 2022 bottle.”
“Got a decant of a recent bottle from a trusted decanter. It smells dark green, maybe a little herbal-bitter. I get no actual emotional response to this fragrance whatsoever. Nothing negative. Nothing positive. Very short-lived performance on my modern batch before it turns into a skin scent. Seems office-safe. Maybe a vintage bottle would be better.Edit: After several wearings, I have determined that I am just going noseblind to this and there is no problem with longevity. It actually lasts a while on clothing.”
