“Lots of well done reviews here that really convey the journey of this fragrance. I think its an absolute banger but you've got to wait a little while. I personally found the opening to be pretty harsh and unpleasant. Lots of spicy frankincense off the top. Then dry down as others have described gets woody and green. A fig note does remind me of Gris Charnel but this is definitely not that. The far dry down just smooths everything out with some sweetness at the end. I think it's great. This is what Purpose 50 by Amouage wanted to be. But Purpose 50 smells like cleaning product.”
“I just bought it and have only tried it a few times. I got a compliment the very first time I wore it, although I should mention that it had been freshly applied. Unfortunately, the longevity is quite poor, around four hours on my skin. It’s a very weak composition, especially considering that it contains incense.I can see some similarities to Purpose 50, but Gris Charnel? Not at all.”
“This is niche quality at a decent price tag. I'm completely in love with this fragrance. I presumed it would be a fragrance with some level of challenge, but I was very wrong. The dry down is addictive and long lasting. Just buy it and thank me later.”
