βI had this on one hand and YSL 6 on the other and honestly as far as dupes go it's pretty close. However, It just doesn't compare to the quality of the original. Certain notes like the leather and labdanum jump out too much and overall it just smells cheaper. I don't think the YSL is worth the asking price but it is definitely nicer.β
βThe opening to this is very similar to rayhaan tigger. A blast of spices that can be overwhelming. In this, the black pepper is amped all the way up and stays active all the way. After an hour you get to the dry down which is smoother, but it's just black pepper with tonka bean and slight musk. Overall, not a fan because that black pepper is just too strong. I don't think it's worth it and this isn't something you can wear often even in colder weather.β
βI get the similarities with Lattafa Liam grey. Thriller is more spicy in the opening and less creamy and without the tea note. Itβs a good elegant fragrance. Mine needs to mature a bit to get the full potential. I can tell Itβs going to last a while as a skin scent. But the projection is surprisingly minimal. More of an intimate fragrance. If you own Liam grey and are considering this. Liam is superior in my opinion.β
