Egra Men captures the fresh, green-herbal opening and iris-forward heart of Green Irish Tweed reasonably well, making it a solid budget alternative for the first 4-5 hours. However, the base suffers noticeably, with Rasasi's musk blend lacking the sophistication and warmth of Creed's ambergris, resulting in a flatter dry-down that fades faster than the original.
The clone trades Creed's refined ambergris base for synthetic musk, which diminishes longevity and gives a slightly cheaper feel in the final hours. Egra Men also projects less sillage overall and doesn't develop the same subtle complexity that makes Green Irish Tweed a timeless classic.
