Asad by Lattafa captures the crisp, peppery opening and lavender-forward heart of Sauvage quite effectively, making it a solid budget alternative. However, the base feels slightly thinner and less refined, with reduced projection of the woody-amber blend that gives Sauvage its signature longevity and warmth. The overall scent trajectory is recognizable but lacks the sophisticated balance and complexity of the original.
Asad delivers comparable performance in the opening 2-3 hours but has noticeably weaker longevity and sillage in the base phase. The missing Calabrian bergamot specificity and reduced labdanum sweetness make it feel slightly more linear and less dimensional than the designer version.
