“Just got this in. Smells similar to Sauvage Elixir. Since it was just under $14, I’d consider this a big win. Is it as rich? No. As spicy? No. As long lasting? No. Is it good enough for the price? Most definitely, especially since the original is so strong that it is almost unwearable unless you are outdoors. Now, Maison Alhambra needs to work on a Parfum version.”

“90% Sausage Elixir. The main difference to me is the black licorice isn't as deep and the fragrance isn't as well blended. Compared to Asad, this hits the licorice and smokiness notes better, but kind of lacks in sweetness. Performance obviously cant compete with sausage, and this lasts about 6 hours and projects moderately. If you want this to perform decent you need at least 4-5 sprays. I got my bottle about 3 months ago, and it got much closer to sauvage in that time. If you can get this for less than $40, then I'd say its worth it. But if not then just get Asad.”
