Legesi captures the spiced-herbal opening and creamy sandalwood base of Original Santal quite well, making it a respectable alternative. However, the spice accords feel slightly softer and less defined, with the juniper and ginger losing some of their distinctive bite. The longevity and projection are comparable, though Legesi tends to settle into the base notes faster.
The spice pyramid in Legesi is less prominent and refined than the original, particularly the juniper and ginger components. Legesi also has marginally weaker projection in the opening phase, though the dry-down sandalwood-vanilla blend is quite similar.
