âI grabbed one recently, ran the number and its a 2023 bottle. Its different compared to the 2017 i had which smelled closer to a green profile scent. The new batch smells like an old sour orange. Thankfully the clash last less than 1hr then it settles into the usual. Strange batch.â
âThe current iteration of Drakkar Noir still smells really amazing, but even after a year of Maturation it still has ATROCIOUS longevity lasting maybe 2 hours tops on skin and maybe 3 on clothes. I have a few "Clones" or fragrances with clear inspiration from DN, but they're ALL missi g that gorgeous Sandlewood in the drydown!â
âThis fragrance is very dated for me. It smells like 14 year old me going to the mall for a Hot Dog on a Stick and an Orange Julius. It smells like 16 year old me and my girlfriendâs leather jacket. Itâs a flood of memories and still a worth a spin on occasion. Good performance from a sharp, masculine fragrance.â
