“On my skin it is very long lasting, there is spiciness in the opening, and it slowly turn into a very nice seemly ozonic, it reminds me a little of delina la rosee in the opening, as it dries down, it smells sweet, a little gourmand, which I love. The dry down reminds me a lot to Penhaligon Elizabethan, which I love too!”

“Nowhere near the Parfait the Roses or L'Instant Magique. No resemblance at all. I find more similarities to Delina - a very modern, industrial, unnatural, pink rose. That being said, Rose D'Amalfi smells more sophisticated than any version of Delina, it is just a bit more subtle and soft. I can sense beautiful heliotrope and almonds - a magical combination surrounding that industrial, plastic rose. Longevity is eternal, but sillage quite minimal.”

“Super soft almond-forward rose fragrance. Pleasant, but boring and forgettable. Certainly not worth $270. PassETA: I went back to smell this, wanting to understand the smells like comparisons. Parfait de Roses was a fave of mine. I ran through a bottle. This doesn’t even touch that. It bears slight resemblance in the opening for approx. 5 min then fades to a skin scent. PdR had great performance apart from being a beautiful and more complex fragrance.”
