“Updating my previous review -Tried this perfume a few times, I really do love it. Last time I smelled it, I knew it reminded me of something, and it is similar DNA to Montblanc Black Meisterstruck. I love Montblanc BM, and for the price that black lacquer is at, I will stick to my Montblanc BM. It's cheaper (65% cheaper than TF BL), longer lasting, and smells amazing, 60-70% similar to TF Black Lacquer.”

The dark smoky wood that follows is not exactly unique among the Tom Ford oeuvre - Tobacco Oud and Sahara Noir come to mind - but it is very nice.To my nose, this is the best Tom Ford release in a long time - it's still not worth the asking price but is at least worth sampling.”

“Opens with a bizarre and powerful inky plastic , has a hint of Cypriol similar to many oud accords, a bit tarry/smokey.Dries down more woody smokey and incense forward but the opening accords persist nicely in a balanced wayLongevity is better than most Fords and it manages to project reasonably for the first few hours. This is a surprisingly solid and unexpected entry.”
