“Can anyone that has the old batch (green/blue packaging) compare the perfume smell vs the new batch that comes in white box? In terms of smell, how is it different? I've read somewhere but can't find where, that there is very minimal difference between them, the older batch being more earthy and heavy, than the new batch, more airy and coconut-ty. I want to order it online on a website, and they have both the old and the new batch, so I Don't know which one to order. There is no price difference. Thanks in advance!”
“This is one of my absolute favorite perfums but the duality of it is driving me nuts. In winter, it gives a rich, boozy aroma that turns into coconut-y liqueur chocolates in a couple of hours. But I simply cannot stand it in summer since for some reason it starts to smell like lye soap just a tiny bit but enough to turn me off.So, yes, perfect for winter, not so great for summer.”
“Starts with a very nice coconut accord. I would say coconut is the main top note, however, this opening lasts for about 15 mins. After that comes a strong rum & tobacco accord while the coconut fades away gradually. After 1.30 hours I could not detect any coconut & was left with tobacco rum medicinal smell. It is fair to say that I liked the opening which was very promising much more than the dry down.I would not comment on the performance because I need at least 2 full wears to judge. This is a cold weather scent.”

Sillage
The clone slightly overemphasizes the vanilla sweetness in the dry-down compared to the original's sandal-wood prominence, and may have marginally shorter longevity. Top and heart note accuracy is strong, making this clone most effective in the opening hours.
