“It’s quite nice but the performance on the new batches with the Nishane logo engraved within the bottom of the glass is poor. I paid £165 for the 100 ml so I wasn’t too upset however this isn’t worth the rrp price. It has developed over the months since Ive owned it but don’t expect is to be long lasting as such.”
“Just picked this up at an airport and it’s the most beautiful vanilla gourmandy fragrance with some nice green fruits and citrus added. Dry down is a little bit spicier than opening in a good way. Longevity8-9hrs 3hrs really good projection and 6 of decent projection. Love it !!”
“Very nice opening. I appreciate the citrus and ginger without it being too sweet. It is a scent that you could probably wear in summer as well. The projection is average. However, it dries down to an unremarkable sandalwood-cedar-vanilla that we have too much of in the fragrance world. It lasts around 8 hours on my skin.”

The clone delivers solid performance in the opening but loses distinction in the middle notes, where the original's jasmine florality shines brighter. Longevity appears comparable, though Ani maintains better sillage and a more refined drydown.

The clone has shorter longevity (4-5 hours vs 8+ hours) and softer sillage compared to Ani. The tuberose note feels less rounded and elegant, with a more linear progression rather than the original's evolving spice-floral-amber journey.

Satwa offers solid accuracy in note composition but falls short in projection and base layer complexity. The original's creamy, luxurious finish is diluted in the clone, which performs better in the opening hours but fades more noticeably after 4-5 hours.

The clone emphasizes vanilla more prominently throughout its development, whereas Ani maintains better balance between its spicy top, floral heart, and creamy base. Ani's signature pink pepper pop is notably absent in Drowning in Vanilla, making it a less complex interpretation overall.
