Bergamot 22

“This is quite simply my favorite warm weather fragrance. Sharp, fresh, realistic citrus notes in the opening that are balanced with light woods and musk in the drydown. It’s energizing, light-hearted, and, yet, sophisticated.Although it’s a hefty price to pay for a fresh fragrance, I haven’t found anything that can top this. I double spray, and as long as I get some on my clothes as well it has quite good performance for a citrus-forward scent. It’s absolutely worth the price IMO.”

“Clean citrus scent, smells good. Has the same floral/soapy drydown as ylang 49.That being said, they're out of their minds if they think its worth the price. Just shower with a citrus body wash, the drydown will last longer.The person below me says that Bergamote 22 is the best fragrance from Le Labo. Yeah I agree. But... theres a hundred better bergamot fragrances. She needs to try a sample of Bergamote Fantastico by Guerlain. Its pricey but IMO that captures the nuances of Bergamot a lot better.”

“For all the great reviews I heard on this one, I was getting ready to be wowed. So far from being amazed.Bergamot is OK, but I’ve smelled juicier bergamot citrusy openings. Dries down to earthy Vetiver, and I’ve smelled better vetiver dry downs. Is this OK...sure, but OK for this price is unacceptable.Longevity was average at best...4/5 hours on skin and clothes. Performance is below average.I can not recommend this DNA, but try it out for yourself and get your own opinion. Beauty of decants.”
