“Just got a bottle of this after debating purchasing it based off a sample I had, which I think must have came from a 2016 batch. My bottle is from the 2020 re-releases and it does not smell anywhere near as complex as the 2016 batch. I'm not sure if I'm tripping or not.The main difference is the 2016 batch has that distinct rubber band/spicy opening but that lasts for way longer than the 2020 batch. Disappointed as the 2020 batch opening is much shorter and just dries down to a very regular golden amber/vanilla/leather smell which is admittedly really nice but it a bit boring.”

“This is a great fragrance from Issey Miyake and quite different to most of their other releases.Soft, sweet Amber from the start with a light smokey and spicey background makes for a lovely warm smell that is great for the winter months and it lasts pretty well too.I find Lattafa's Ameer Al Oudh Intense quite similar to this but a lot cheaper.”
