Silky Woods

“Lovely creamy, woody vanilla with some suede. A bit generic but still nice.Edit: I ended up ordering a sample so I can further experiment with it for a few days. My thoughts on day 1 are the same as when I tried it in store. It reminds me of a cheaper vanilla fragrance I have. Silky Woods is nice but so far nothing that justifies its price.Final conclusion: Either the longevity and projection is crappy or I get noseblind to this within 5 mins. Not worth it imo.”

“Starts as a sharp and syrupy vanilla (exactly like the 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods) but with a dustier undertone (not in a bad way - leathery dusty, but sometimes veers into play-do territory) that makes it more complex than your simple vanilla. Dries down to a warmer vanilla and the leathery notes become woodsy. Great longevity and projection. A trustworthy and solid perfume for those who love the smell - just not for me because of the dusty leather notes (and glad I got a decanter size because the price is … a lot).”

“mild smoky-vanilla with a touch of saffron. perfect for autumn and colder days. as the name suggests, it smells silky because the notes are well blended. i'd say this one has moderate projection with okay-ish longevity. I also prefer this one compared to the elixir because that one is intensely dusty on my nose.”
