“THE frankincense bomb. Love it. This 3rd and latest reformulation (2021) is the best yet with increased longevity and sillage. Original version was great. 2nd version was a disaster! Someone must have put L’Oréal back on track. This is again a worthy signature scent for the man himself.”
“Quite probably the most delicate, sensual and elegant incense fragrance ever created, this beauty adds notes of black pepper, vetiver, woods and labdanum oh so delicately to create a truly mystical feel. Moderate sillage and projection but very classy and understated presentation. This one can be worn anytime by anyone and not offend anyone. High quality craftsmanship here. Unisex scent with moderate sillage and good longevity. Enjoy!”
“I tested it and it smells exactly as I would like the incense fragrance to smell. However what puts me off seems to be very poor projection. Even in high summer it is barely a skin scent. This is hard to tolerate at this price point... I do not understand why is it so difficult to make a good incense fragrance. The best ones either get discontinued (Guccci Homme) or reformulated (Piguet Casbah)... I will need to try once again, because the reviews here give conflicting accounts of performance. Maybe just a bad sample, but the scent itself is heavenly.”
