“The opening is an earthy floral scent. Not in a musky or dense way though. The dry down is an aquatic floral scent with a soft sweetness to it. I got no ginger at all. I didn't like the opening but that final stage of the dry down is actually really pretty. Soft projection and moderate longevity. Not full bottle worthy for me.”
“A beautiful fragrance that starts off very green and then later you start to get more of the vanilla, cardamom and ginger on the drydown. It’s overpriced considering its fleeting longevity. Some of the other scents in this Diptyque collection are super strong and very worth it (Lunamaris). Future Society's Floating Forest is not a dupe at all but has a very similar vibe and is much more price conscious. Heretic's new Spectral Grace is also another alternative for a dewey, earthy, aquatic floral.”
“This is pretty but not special enough to justify the price. The scent itself is quite nice though. I hated the opening which smelled just like grass but the dry down is lovely. Even though there’s vanilla and cardamom in here, it definitely is a watery, fairylike scent- not gourmand at all. If I didn’t see the notes, I’m not sure I’d be able to distinguish any, as it’s very well blended. But again for this price, I feel like I could find something similar for cheaper.”
