“The new version doesn’t smell anything like it used to. Yes, it’s pleasant, but it isn’t close to the original. Now it’s more of a skin scent and doesn’t last. I guess if you want to get a neutered version of the original with no sillage or lasting power by all means buy it. The burst of aldehydes and white flowers that gives way to juicy peach. Gone.”
“This is what i imagine an editor at a fashion magazine would smell like , walking the streets of NYC. its elegant , mature but my issue with it is that its very strong i wouldnt say its an everyday office scent something is screetchy about it . i love it but has its own time i would use it in a date night for example. also this scent is versatile like its not a summer or winter scent feels like a all year scent .”
“If you like florals and patchouli (especially the latter) and are looking for an elegant, everyday scent - you should give it a try. For me it’s way too strong on patchouli which I don’t really like, unless in a minimal amount. Here, it’s also mixed with citruses which makes it even worse for me. But I appreciate this fragrance, it’s just not my cup of tea. Its performance is incredible though - sillage, projection and longevity for over 10hours, days on clothes.”
