“If you have no idea what Cacharel Pour L'Homme smells like: to my nose, it's similar to Antaeus, but minus Antaeus' animalic note, plus sharper herbal and slight citric and metallic notes. Mellows less than Antaeus in the dry down. Sillage and longevity are comparable to Antaeus'. Unmistakably masculine.”
“I recently bought a 2012 bottle and wore it a few times. The scent is very similar to Dunhill Edition but better because DE is very dry but CPLH has a creaminess to it which I like and the quality is better. It was a blind buy and I didn't expect much performance yet it's a total disappointment in that regard. The bottle was inside the packaged box with a small plastic cap for 7 years since it's production. Now I have removed the cap, hope it breathes air and matures. Still have some hope.Edit July 2021: Performance is still terrible however it lasts a tad longer if sprayed liberally on clothes.”
“This is an interesting one. Definitely an OG scent. The opening I actually didn't like because it was more like aniseed or cloves. But saying that, I could get used to it . The drydown was absolutely divine though, very musky floral. Great versatility as an office and going out scent. Performance has been 5 hours or so a d a bit longer on clean skin. I'm very happy with this..”
