“Truly beautiful, luxurious and elegant scent worthy of royals.But alas, the complaints on performance are very valid. At least on my skin. Projection fades almost immediately, and while longevity seems ok, paying a hefty price for a pure skin scent ain't gonna happen.No other Amouage I've tried had this problem. Perhaps I'm noseblind? Does it need a lot of maceration? If this hade respectable performance I'd probably buy a full bottle in an instant.”

“The dry-down is just ok, and the opening just seals the deal for me for being a fragrance that's not for me. I immediately smelled the urine note that some have referred to. I expect a fragrance to sing to my heart at this price range, and this one just doesn't. I don't enjoy the opening, and a below-average dry-down just doesn't make it worth it for me. Very mature fragrance that smells like it's for a middle-aged to elderly gentleman. I do get the blackberry note.”
