“I have a bottle of Epic from the early 2010's and received a sample recently. I'm afraid to confirm it's been reformulated, as indicated by some other reviews. The sillage is weaker and longevity is an hour at best, whereas Epic used to be epic by nature and lasted for at least 24 hours (even after showering). It also seems to missing the lush, herbaceous, balsamic opening of the original formulation. I'm so disappointed and like others, will be seeking out vintage formulations or consider other brands, which isn't good for Amouage's business.”

“An incredible perfume - my partner says it’s an ecclesiastical scent.. reminds him of all the beautiful aromas of history coming through in one indelible hit. He LOVES it.For me it’s more a winter fragrance to spice up the cold weather. When I wear it in summer two sprays last for 48 hours or so. Longevity is huge!”

“Epic Woman is an amazingly long lasting perfume--over 12 hours and still going strong! Projection is pretty wide. This is mainly a frankincense/rose/patchouli bomb on my skin. It smells like wealth and opulence, without the ostentatiousness that so often can accompany those traits. I like it and have enjoyed it wafting around me all day, but ever since about the 6-8 hour mark, I'm starting to get a little tired of it. A great value, though, if this type of perfume is your thing; a bottle will last a lifetime.”
