Neon by Walid Fragrance captures the fresh, peppery citrus opening and lavender-geranium heart of Sauvage reasonably well, making it a competent budget alternative. However, the base lacks the depth and warmth of the original's Labdanum-Cedar combination, resulting in a lighter, more linear dry-down that fades faster than expected.
The clone delivers a brighter, thinner interpretation with noticeably shorter longevity and reduced sillage compared to Sauvage's powerful projection. Walid's version also lacks the subtle woody complexity and amber richness that makes Dior's formulation so versatile and long-lasting.
