Szindore's Elixir captures the fresh, peppery opening and lavender-forward character of Sauvage reasonably well, though the Calabrian bergamot's complexity is somewhat muted. The ambroxan and cedar foundation is present but lacks the depth and warmth of the original's labdanum-enriched base, resulting in a thinner, less sophisticated dry-down.
Elixir misses some top note nuance and has a noticeably shorter longevity and weaker sillage compared to Sauvage. The base lacks the creamy warmth of the original, feeling more linear and less developed as the fragrance evolves.
