Conquer by Szindore captures the bright citrus-pepper opening and lavender heart of Sauvage reasonably well, making it a serviceable dupe for the price point. However, the clone lacks the complexity of the Sichuan pepper layer and appears to have a softer base, missing some of the woody depth and labdanum sweetness that gives Sauvage its signature staying power and richness.
The clone performs adequately in the opening but falls short in mid-to-base performance with reduced complexity and longevity. Szindore's version tends to be slightly brighter and less layered than the original's sophisticated pepper-amber-wood progression.
