โVanilla toffee was not what i imagined. For me, the opening was a spicy, nutty and citrus scent. It reminded me of i think Navitus Embrace and maybe Vanille Paradoxe blended. The citrus kick quickly dies down and then it becomes very nutty on my skin, with the sugary toffee moving forward. By the dry down, it is a Sugary, vanilla/ toffee with the sugar dying down towards the end. Initially it is rather strong, then as the scent reaches dry down, it reduces in projection. It's not a beast like i expected but it is nice/ different. I like it but I am not rushing to have it in my collection.โ
โI am the only one who thinks this does NOT smell like the notes?? No toffee, no creamy vanilla and no milky notes. The opening is buttery, yes but as it dries down this smells like Amouage Guidance with a tad of butter. I am so disappointed, I feel like I was cat-fished. I am a gourmand lover but this... Oh no, this is not gourmand.โ
โPersonally I don't like it. It smells like burnet plastic and it's impossible to get off because it lasts forever. I don't understand the point on why needing a beast mode that smells horrible.โ
