Frenetic Tobacco Honey captures the warm tobacco-honey essence of Tobacolour reasonably well, with comparable sweetness and aromatic tobacco character. However, the original's sophisticated cognac opening and refined woody base are notably simplified in the clone, resulting in a more linear and less complex scent experience.
The clone emphasizes honey more prominently in the opening, while sacrificing some of the original's cognac complexity and depth. Longevity and sillage are also slightly reduced compared to the designer version.
What people who wear Paris Corner Emir Frenetic Tobacco Honey report, based on votes and reviews from a large fragrance community.
βAt first, it smelled on my skin like honey. But after a few minutes, it turned into something that smells like BR540. Very much iodine, like raw walnuts shells. Interesting, but not what I expected. It lasts for about 4 hours, then it settles to a skin scent.β
βHonestly it is weird but I kinda like it at times. It has a very smoky and sweet opening. I neither love nor hate it because it leans too far into the masculine category. However, the honey scent that shows itself as the heart and base notes come out is sublime.btw it's a unisex perfume.β
βThe other Frenetics are better, way more pleasing. This dirtbomb doesnΒ΄t smell like sweetened tobacco at all - which probably was what they were aiming for and failed miserably at it.β
