Asad captures the peppery-spice opening and aromatic lavender-geranium heart of Sauvage Elixir quite convincingly, with a similar warm woody-amber base. The clone delivers comparable performance and longevity, though the bergamot brightness and elemi freshness feel slightly muted compared to the original's crisp opening.
Asad lacks the distinctive labdanum sweetness and ambroxan's luminosity found in Elixir, resulting in a slightly more subdued and linear dry-down. Longevity is comparable, but Asad projects with marginally less sillage in the opening hours.
