Oud Mood

“I tested this fragrance in store, and initially wasn't overly impressed. The opening is a blast of Rose, which isn't my favourite note... After 1/2 hours the fragrance dried down and I just had to go back and buy it! This is such a warm, comforting and sexy fragrance. The dry down is Musk, Oud, Incense and Rose, definitely unisex but leans towards feminine. Performance is good, approx 8 hours. Another gem from Lattafa!”

“Oud Mood opens sweet and slightly floral. With the dry down I get rose, wood, smooth amber and a creamy vanilla, with a bit of smokey incense peaking through. Very well blended, nothing harsh or offensive. Completely unisex in my opinion, a very comforting and beautiful scent.My issue is its performance. It lasts minutes on my skin. On clothes, it's got moderate staying power and sillage. I expected a bit more. Will maceration help? I hope so, because Oud Mood could be my kind of mood.”

“Anyone who owned this bottle for years noticed the scent get richer? I revisited this since it’s summer and I haven’t been touching oud(I know I’m guilty! Oud in summer… but I just had to visit this again.)The scent matured so much. Yes the opening is still somewhat harsh but the drydown is heavenly it’s so smooth now. The Oud and caramel are so well blended now.There’s a specific note in this fragrance that makes it so addicting. I can’t tell what it is but when I inhale it then hold my breath it smells so appealing.”
