“I really wanted to love this as it comes highly recommended and the notes sound appealing. Sadly, the only thing I kind of liked about this fragrance is the dry down. The opening is too much of everything and smells like incense in a bad way. The dry down is sweet and smoky but overall this is a no go. I do understand the appeal for a very mature audience.”
“Omg the opening has an obnoxious balsamic Oud that’s just swallows everything else. But the dry down is gorgeous, sensual and it just gets better with age. The saffron emerges in the mid with a creamy vanilla dessert base and a gorgeous syrupy rose.Shaghaf Oud is a great dupe if you want a reliable dupe that pretty much does the same thing in a slightly dry way and has a slightly more prominent saffron note.”
“This fragrance is outstanding masterpiece. I laugh when I see when french perfumes are being compared with arabian cheap liquids. I tried these 'affordable dupes' and it's like iPhone made with axe. I will not spend even $1 for this perfume segment. It's better to have just one good perfume instead of owning these 'dupes'. Sorry all arabian dupes lovers. I exclude Amouage for sure even though not a big fan of this brand, except couple of compositions :)Oud bouquet is volumetric, chick and great. Saffron, oud and chocolate are prominent and well blender. 10 out of 10.”
