The Scoop
Musk Replace by La Ree Fragrances captures the spicy-aromatic opening and the dominant musky-woody base of Musk Therapy quite well, with solid note accuracy in the top and middle sections. However, the clone tends to emphasize the synthetic musks slightly more prominently, giving it a cleaner, less nuanced dry-down compared to the original's more complex vetiver-sandalwood interplay.
Key Differences
The clone performs slightly better on initial projection but lacks the original's sophistication and longevity in the base, with the musk character feeling more linear and less refined. Ambrette seed in the original adds a subtle sweetness that appears absent in the clone's formulation.
