Best Tom Ford Rose Prick Dupe
Picky Rose captures the peppery rose character of Rose Prick reasonably well, with a similar fresh citrus opening and woody base structure. However, the clone slightly softens the rose's prominence and substitutes some supporting floral notes, resulting in a marginally less complex heart. Longevity and sillage are comparable, though the original maintains slightly better projection.
The clone's heart leans more toward geranium rather than peony, and uses cedar instead of vetiver in the base, creating a slightly drier, less refined woody drydown. Top note citrus profile is also marginally different, with lemon replacing the original's grapefruit for a sharper opening.
