Voux Spices captures the aromatic-spicy profile of Ivory Route quite faithfully, with the basil and allspice accords translating well in the clone. However, the sandalwood and patchouli base in the clone tends to feel slightly more linear and less nuanced than the original's richer, more complex dry-down. The clone performs adequately for a mid-range alternative, though it lacks some of the original's refined spice development.
The clone's longevity is marginally shorter (5-6 hours vs 7-8 hours on the original) and the base notes feel less layered. Sillage on Voux Spices is also slightly reduced, making it less prominent in the mid-notes transition.
