Cosmopolitan Extreme captures the fresh citrus-spice DNA of Sauvage reasonably well, with a similar bergamot-led opening and lavender-geranium heart. However, the clone tends to feel slightly sharper in the pepper notes and may lack some of the sophisticated roundness that Ambroxan provides in the original, resulting in a somewhat more generic fruity-spice profile.
The clone exhibits slightly better initial projection but shorter longevity than Sauvage, with a more linear progression that doesn't evolve as gracefully. The creamy, woody base of the original is less developed in Cosmopolitan Extreme, making it feel fresher but less refined overall.
