“It is a cheap but good alternative to Oud Wood. The opening is different, a bit more green. But after about 5 minutes, it is pretty much the same. Amazing smell. With 4 sprays, I can get wafts for about the next 2 hours.Projection - Poor to ModerateLongevity - Moderate to LongWhile it won't blow your mind in terms of performance, it does offer better performance than the original.Worth the price and I would buy again just for the amazing scent.”
“I tested Oud Wood and Agar at the same time. One on one hand, the other on my other hand.Opening: 90% similar to Oud Wood. OW is softer with less projection.Dry down: 90-95% similar to OW. OW is a nicer, more sophisticated smell, but it's not worth the premium. No one would EVER be able to tell the difference if they smelled you out in public. Even the most die hard Oud Wood fan.”
“It's a decent copy of TF Oud Wood. Maybe 70-75% close, but if you do a side by side comparison, they are way more noticeably different. Longevity is very poor. I paid $35 for a 1oz bottle and I don't think it's worth that. If you add that up to make a standard 3.4 oz bottle, that would be $119. Still cheaper than TF Oud wood, but Agar is NOWHERE near worth that price.”
