“Afnan Turathi Blue opens with a fresh, semi-sweet citrus musk like Bvlgari Tygar.It is a linear composition from the open to dry down without the harsh and synthetic opening often found in other Middle Eastern fragrances.The projection is decent for the first two hours, and the overall longevity is excellent.Although it costs more than Maison Alhambra Sceptre Bronzite, its superior performance justifies the cost. The only real difference between this and Al Qiam silver is in the opening, where Turathi Blue brings a bit more sweetness.”

“I bought this in 2023 and needed some time to really appreciate this. I always thought it was ok/good but not groundbreaking, but now I think it doesnt have to be all that. If you think about it, the most popular scents are quite simple (Imagination, Aventus type of scents etc..). I got quite a few compliments for Turathi Blue, where I thought "Why would they compliment this and not my other stuff".Longevity and sillage are exremely good, I see some people complaining around here but I dont get it at all, mine lasts so long, but maybe its because my batch is quite old.”

“Quite a safe blind buy. Definitely a little heavy on the grapefruit on the opening but it meshes really well with the musk and spices in the drydown. Performance is alright, not amazing and not terrible. A good choice for almost any occassion. The one caveat is that I just don't see it as a good fit in hot summers. Summer nights on the other hand can work.”
