“Smells a lot like the original but without the apple note. This makes the aldehydes pop out more and gives the fragrance a soapy feel. I like it, but not nearly enough to buy a full bottle.I wish I could speak any performance differences, but the original Y EDT lasted a while on me, too, so I can't say this one is any better or worse.”

“Just bought a 2024 batch.In this recent batch, the top notes aren’t as candyish as previous iterations, I know it’s not listed, but they used to add just a touch of cardamom to the top. That, paired with the citrus and the aldehydes and aquatic notes give the top a sort of candyish feel.These recent batches focus more on a citrus top note in comparison to its 2020 batch.This batch seems to perform slightly better.”

“So much better than the edp. Y EDP was the first YSL I ever smelled and I thought I hated YSL. No, I hate y EDP. Every other YSL I've smelled, I love and I love Y EDT. It's very clean and watery fresh out of the shower feel. The projection and sillage is very big and strong for an EDT, sillage is actually huge. Projection is loud if over sprayed for at least an hour easy. It does have a generic smell to it but you can tell it's much higher quality and smoother than just any fresh scent. Definitely has better performance than L'HOMME.”
